Introduction
Type AH, HH, M pumps are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps. They are designed for handling abrasive or corrosive slurry in the metallurgical, mining, coal, power, building material and other industrial departments etc.
AH(R), HH are also called heavy duty slurry pumps, are used to transport the strong abrasive high density or low density high head slurry. Under the allowable pressure, the pumps of this type also can be installed in multistage series. HH type pump is mainly used for transport low density high head or high density low abrasive high head slurry.
M(R) is a kind of middle duty slurry pump, is used to transport the fine particle size and middle density slurry.
The liner and impeller of AH(R) and M(R) model can be changeable and material can be either anti-abrasive metal or rubber, but material of liner and impeller of HH model only can be metal version. Rubber material wet parts are mainly used for transport the slurry which contains fine, non-sharp particle size.
The shaft seals for type AH(R), M(R) and HH pumps can be adoptable of gland seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal. The discharge can be positioned at intervals of 45 degrees by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.
Advantages
1. Discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45 degree.
2. Good replaceability of components with original pump.
3. Wear-resistant metal and long service life time.
4. With greater axial and radial load rating capacity,
5. Discharge direction can be installed at intervals of 45 degrees as request and oriented to any eight positions to suit applications.
6. Suit different working condition.
7. Wide application, high efficiency and easy to maintain.
8. Wide options for impeller.
9. Bearing assembly use grease lubrication.

Construction
The AH type slurry pumps have pump bodies that consist of replaceable wear-resistant metal liners or wear-resistant rubber liners, and impellers can also apply wear-resistant metal material or wear-resistant rubber material. The HH type slurry pumps only apply wear-resistant metal material as their pump bodies and impellers.
Application
AH series slurry pump is widely used in metallurgy, mining, mineral processing, dredging, dewatering, water treatment, coal washing, mill, cyclone feed, tailing, power, building material…etc. various industrial sites. Our pumps are called different names for different working duties: Mineral processing pump, Mill discharge slurry Pump, Booster pump, Feeding pump, Tailing pump, Transfer pump Thickner Underflow Pump, De-watering screen pump, Pressure pump, Concentrate pump…

Jalore : The granite industry used to serve the local people with large amount of employment to earn their livelihoods. Its slurry powder is now becoming a cause of worry for the villagers. This powder is a type of slow poison and whoever inhales this powder gets sick as it generates several diseases in the human body. Most of the people are suffering from silicosis disease. Farmers are also upset because due to this powder they are suffering from huge losses

Quality Korean Hook & Claw vacuum pumps for the Dairy Farm industry in New Zealand
Korean manufactured Wonchang pumps are dry running (use no oil or water), compact and direct driven by high efficiency electric motors. The air suction volume is controlled via a variable speed driven motor which determines the volumetric flow delivered to the milking machine.
All vacuum pumps in this industry are rated in free air at -50kPa vacuum level. Working vacuum levels are typically between -44 kPa through to -50kPa.
Claw pumps are energy efficient and in conjunction with the variable speed drives significant cost savings can be made.
As an example, a Liquid ring vacuum pump installed with no variable speed drive has an adsorbed motor power of 15kW and a delivered flow rate of around 4000 l/min. A system with 4000 l/min flow requirement has a built in reserve capacity and is regulated by an adjustable vacuum regulation valve (bleeds in air from atmosphere) to maintain a constant vacuum level.
If you replaced the above pump with a dry running VCX 500 Hook & Claw vacuum pump without a variable speed drive, it would require 11kW motor power and deliver a flow rate of 4300 l/min. When you add the variable speed drive, you will achieve further motor power saving with the average adsorbed power diving as low as 9kW. Thats a huge saving of 6kWs per hour multiplied by your kWh unit price for every operational hour of your plant! As an illustration, with a 6kW motor power saving and a unit cost of $0.20 per kWh x 6hrs per day x 200 days per year, you achieve a saving of $1,440 per year!
Hook & Claw pumps have pumping speeds from 1000 to 5000 l/min at -50kPa. These pumps can be used in harsh environments where water vapour content is high, due to a rugged simple design, an internal coating and high running temperature which ensures that vapour doesnt condense inside the pump.
These pumps do require protection from the ingestion of liquid (slugs) from wash down and process carryover. mbar Ltd can provide a proven process solution to eliminate this risk, ensuring maximum service life for your vacuum pump even in even the harshest environment.
