Being popularized and promoted; now they are widely used in metallurgical industry, mining sector, coal ore and chemical engineering to handle abrasive and corrosive slurries with foam and froth. When operated, AF pumps can effectively eliminate foam and froth in slurry and will also function properly even with inadequate feeding slurry, thus making them the ideal choice for delivering foam slurries, esp. in flotation process.

Structure Features

  • Bearing assembly of AF series is the same with that of SP, SPR series. Bearing housing is installed with motor frame base or supporting plate, i.e. pump and motor are connected either directly with coupling or through pulley and belts. Pulleys can be exchanged conveniently to adjust the pump rotating speed to satisfy the varying operating conditions.
  • Feeding tank can be steel , stainless steel or coated with rubber with overflow box and tangential inlet. The former can transmit the excessive incoming slurry back to its pit, while the latter will allow the slurry quickly get into the pump body and make part of the foams disappear.
  • Double casings structure the pump head. Wetted parts are metal lined, rubber lined or of other non-metallic material according to the different slurries.

    The first step is to make a salination plant using salination blocks, salination controller, salination valves and advanced solar generators. Once you’re producing brine, you pull the brine and put it into an electrolytic separator, resulting in hydrogen and chlorine. Both of these get put back together in a chemical infuser to produce hydrogen chloride. That hydrogen chloride needs to be piped over to a chemical injection chamber.

    Next, you’re going to need a good source of sulfur. If you’re using the Crack Pack, as I am in this tutorial, then you can simply set up a creeper farm. If you are not, you can put gunpowder and hydrogen chloride, or salt, into a chemical injection chamber. Regardless of how you get your sulfur, you need to put your sulfur into a chemical oxidizer, and this will produce sulfur dioxide. You then take that sulfur dioxide and combine it with oxygen in another chemical infuser. The resulting sulfur trioxide needs to be piped to another chemical infuser, which should be fed by a rotary condensentrator, producing sufuric acid.

    Finally, where it all comes together! The sulfuric acid is piped into a chemical dissolution chamber, where it meets the ore and turns into ore slurry. The ore slurry is cleaned in a chemical washer, then crystalised in a chemical crystaliser. From there, the crystals are moved to the chemical injection chamber we were piping our hydrogen chloride to and they are turned into shards. We’re nearly there as the shards are moved to a purification chamber that is supplied with oxygen, turning them into clumps. the clumps are then crushed in a crusher, and the resulting dirty dust is cleaned in an enrichment chamber. All that’s needed then is to smelt the ore dust and we have 5 ingots for every ore block!
