Performance and material characteristics

This vehicle came to me as a “crank no start”. Upon further investigation I found that the vehicle wasn’t getting fuel to the engine. A diagnostic procedure was performed and it the vehicle was found to have a faulty fuel pump.
In this video I’ll take you along the diagnostic path that I followed to come to this conclusion.
Note: There are a number of things that can cause your vehicle to not get fuel up to the engine. Just to name a few, a clogged fuel filter, a pinched fuel line, open circuit to the fuel pump, faulty PCM, ect ect, can cause a “crank not start” because fuel is not reaching the engine. Though the diagnostic path shown in this video seems to be very linear the reality of it is that your diagnostic path could branch of into a totally different direction. You need to have a repair manual that shows a diagnostic flow chart for this symptom that covers more than just the particular path shown in this video.
