Leading Manufacturer for AH Metal Lined Slurry Pump Wholesale to Plymouth Detail:
Introduction
Type AH, HH, M pumps are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps. They are designed for handling abrasive or corrosive slurry in the metallurgical, mining, coal, power, building material and other industrial departments etc.
AH(R), HH are also called heavy duty slurry pumps, are used to transport the strong abrasive high density or low density high head slurry. Under the allowable pressure, the pumps of this type also can be installed in multistage series. HH type pump is mainly used for transport low density high head or high density low abrasive high head slurry.
M(R) is a kind of middle duty slurry pump, is used to transport the fine particle size and middle density slurry.
The liner and impeller of AH(R) and M(R) model can be changeable and material can be either anti-abrasive metal or rubber, but material of liner and impeller of HH model only can be metal version. Rubber material wet parts are mainly used for transport the slurry which contains fine, non-sharp particle size.
The shaft seals for type AH(R), M(R) and HH pumps can be adoptable of gland seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal. The discharge can be positioned at intervals of 45 degrees by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.
Advantages
1. Discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45 degree.
2. Good replaceability of components with original pump.
3. Wear-resistant metal and long service life time.
4. With greater axial and radial load rating capacity,
5. Discharge direction can be installed at intervals of 45 degrees as request and oriented to any eight positions to suit applications.
6. Suit different working condition.
7. Wide application, high efficiency and easy to maintain.
8. Wide options for impeller.
9. Bearing assembly use grease lubrication.

Construction
The AH type slurry pumps have pump bodies that consist of replaceable wear-resistant metal liners or wear-resistant rubber liners, and impellers can also apply wear-resistant metal material or wear-resistant rubber material. The HH type slurry pumps only apply wear-resistant metal material as their pump bodies and impellers.
Application
AH series slurry pump is widely used in metallurgy, mining, mineral processing, dredging, dewatering, water treatment, coal washing, mill, cyclone feed, tailing, power, building material…etc. various industrial sites. Our pumps are called different names for different working duties: Mineral processing pump, Mill discharge slurry Pump, Booster pump, Feeding pump, Tailing pump, Transfer pump Thickner Underflow Pump, De-watering screen pump, Pressure pump, Concentrate pump…

INITIAL PROBLEM: Annoying rpm-influenced sound from Lincoln. Belt and idler were replaced less than 8k miles ago. Sound happened before replacement. Thought it was belt. Replaced both belt an idler. Sound stopped. Sound resumed about 1000 miles later. Sound comes intermittently, hot or cold weather.
Mechanic stethoscope was used in beginning of video.
Spray water bottle was used to clean belt.
PROBLEM SOLVED: The problem was a leaking water pump that allowed coolant to contaminate belt. Water Pump was replaced. Belt was removed & pressure rinsed with water. Then reinstalled. Problem was solved.
Due to mileage of vehicle (122k) and some play in original belt tensioner bearing, original belt tensioner pulley assembly was also replaced.
All parts are aftermarket and purchased from Pep Boys

VIDEO CORRECTION: A 1/4 (NOT 3/8) craftsman ratchet was used with a t40 star bit and 1/4 hex drive adapter to remove/install belt tensioner pulley. Star bit socket set was purchased for $3.99 (not $5) from Harbor Freight.

Although this is not a tutorial video and wasn’t meant to be one. It does give great visuals on belt tensioner and water pump replacement for all 1995-2002 Lincoln Continentals. Thus should help anyone performing the aforementioned procedure.
The following information are the exact factory service manual instructions used to remove/replace water pump, tensioner pulley, and bleed coolant system. Some details that were omitted from factory service manual were added as well.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++Belt Tensioner Replacement DIRECTIONS:
1. JACK UP ENGINE OIL PAN (SEE VIDEO).
2. REMOVE 2 POWER STEERING RESERVOIR BOLTS AND POSITION OUT THE WAY.
3. ROTATE DRIVE TENSIONER WITH 3/8 BAR TO RELEASE TENSION FROM BELT.
4. REMOVE RH INNER FENDER WALL OVER TIRE (WHEEL REMOVAL IS UNNECESSARY).
5. REMOVE BELT FROM BOTTOM.
6. REMOVE TENSIONER PULLEY T40 STAR BOLT WITH 1/4 T40 BIT AND DRIVE.
7. REMOVE TENSIONER PULLEY FROM BOTTOM
CLEAN TENSIONER PULLEY MOUNTING SURFACE AND MAKE SURE IT IS DRY PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++Water Pump Replacement DIRECTIONS:
(ALTHOUGH I REMOVED UPPER RADIATOR HOSE, IT IS NOT NECESSARY)
1. JACK UP ENGINE OIL PAN (SEE VIDEO)
2. DRAIN COOLANT SYSTEM
Release pressure in degas bottle by slowly turning pressure relief cap counterclockwise. When pressure is released, remove cap.
Put container below radiator draincock.
(optional) Put a long tube over radiator draincock side opening (SEE VIDEO).
Open radiator draincock and allow fluid to drain.
3. REMOVE DEGAS BOTTLE
4. REMOVE DRIVE BELT
5. REMOVE 4 WATER PUMP PULLEY BOLTS & PULLEY
6. REMOVE ALTERNATOR (GENERATOR)
7. REMOVE 4 WATER PUMP BOLTS AND WATER PUMP.
CLEAN WATER PUMP SEALING SURFACE AND MAKE SURE IT IS DRY PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++COOLANT SYSTEM FILLING AND BLEEDING Directions:
1. Jack up front end of vehicle really high
2. Remove degas bottle cap
3. Remove cross over plug (COUNTERCLOCKWISE) with 1/4 drive (if seized, try using pliers around upper part of plug. But below crossover pipe).
4. Fill the degas bottle above the full line and seal degas bottle with cap.
5. Get a funnel and tape it to the crossover tube opening to make a seal. You can also use a turkey baster rubber end as a seal between the funnel and tube opening (SEE VIDEO).
5. Continue adding coolant to the crossover tube until it fills up an inch from top.
6. Select the maximum heater and blower speeds.
7. Position the controls to discharge air at A/C vents
8. Start engine and allow to idle
9. While engine is idling, feel for hot air at a/c vents
WARNING: IF AIR DISCHARGE REMAINS COOL AND ENGINE TEMP GAUGE DOES NOT MOVE, ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL IS LOW IN ENGINE AND MUST BE FILLED. STOP ENGINE, ALLOW TO COOL, THE FILL COOLING SYSTEM.
IF OK, PROCEED TO NEXT STEP:
10. Add coolant to funnel to keep it full
11. You should notice large and small air pockets escaping
12. Keep the engine running until the thermostat starts to open
13. Shut off engine and install crossover plug.
14. After engine is cool, slowly remove crossover plug and top off engine coolant.
15. Install crossover plug with anti-seize around threads.
16. Test drive vehicle.
17. Allow to cool overnight
18. Check degas bottle without removing cap. If you can see coolant level in cap and it is low, add coolant to degas bottle.
However, if you can’t see level in degas bottle, top off in crossover.
DO NOT OPEN THE DEGAS BOTTLE CAP WITH CROSS OVER PLUG REMOVED.
